Can we give you more bridging finance than the amount that you're supposed to get?
People ask us, "Look I sold my home and I'm supposed to get a million Rand. Can I get 1.1 million from you? Can I get 1.2? Can I get more than the amount I'm supposed to get?".
Unfortunately, no. In the bridging finance industry, we can only give you money from what you're supposed to get. So anywhere within that amount. If you are supposed to get a million Rand, we can give you within that amount.
In the bridging finance industry, the general standard is 80% of the amount you're supposed to get. So if you're supposed to get a million, we can give you 80% of that, which is R800 000.
So I hope that that makes sense. We can only give you within the amount that you're getting from the sale of the property. Looking forward to assisting you!
