Lesson From Kanye West - As I Learn With Gal Ezra

I saw a recent video by Kanye West and in that video, he said, "the universe never sets you up to fail". That sounds very romantic but there's a problem with that.

The truth of the matter is if you look around, this universe is actually designed for you to be effect, for you to fail, this universe makes you effect. Now you can either be cause - the one that makes things happen, causing, or you can be effect.

At any given moment you're either cause or effect. This universe makes you effect - I want to go through a door and the effect of the door, I need to open the door in order to go through it. If I want to have a really productive day, I all of a sudden get hungry or tired, and am the effect of my body.

So you're always made actually to be effect. That's the truth of the matter. Now, can you become more cause? Yes. Can you practice getting out of that loop of being effect? Yes, you can become more cause.

So how do you become more cause? The idea is, first of all, putting the next second there. Putting time there. You practice the next split second. You put it there. You decide it, you create it.

That's the first point of view, anything I create, I create. But when you create, you also have to know that you are the cause of anything you do. Pretty easy. I'm the cause of anything I do. But you also need to know that you're the cause of anything that happens to you.

So if things go wrong in your business, hey, that's on you. If things go wrong in your relationship, how did you cause that? If somebody comes and punches you? Why were you there? How did you cause that?

So you need to practice the idea that anything you do, and anything that happens to you, you caused. And again, put the next second there, create the area around you.

That's how you get out of the loop of the effect that the universe makes. Practice that. It's something deeper, something interesting, something to think with. But I think that you'll enjoy practicing that because it will make you more cause.
