The idea of "seriousness" is that you do something because there's a threat of penalty.
If you don't do it, somehow you're going to get punished.
For example, you go to work because if you don't go to work, you don't get paid. If you don't get paid, you can't pay your rent. If you can't pay your rent, you'll be on the street. If you're on the street, she'll leave you. If she leaves you, you'll have nothing. So you go to work because you've got to pay rent.
There's a penalty if you don't, so you get serious.
"Serious" is when something is heavy, and threatening you with punishment.
Don't be serious.
Seriousness gets you heavy and heavy things sink. Heavy things can't jump over the barriers of life. Heavy things can't create.
You need to play the game. That's the solution. Play the game of life. You might win, you might lose. Every day you come to work is a new game. Who can I help? How can I get my product out to people? How can I get in communication with people? That's the game.
So you create, create, create, and that gets you un-serious. Don't worry about the penalty. You're going to make it go right. It's going to work out. Right now create and play the game.
Don't get serious.
